Westborough Girl Scouts donate 399 boxes of cookies!

Westborough Girl Scout Troop Leaders Judy Wilchynski and Julie Baldwin delivered and donated 399 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies to the Veterans Center on Sunday March 29th for our troops as well as checks of donations towards shipping costs of $604.00. Girl Scouts of one troop made beaded bracelets and donated small toys for the Iraqi children.

The Fitchburg Girl Scouts under the direction of member Susan Lambert have donated over 500 boxes of Girl Scout cookies for our troops as well.

Lori Bateman, her Girl Scout troop and volunteers will meet at the Vets Center, 100 West Street, Leominster, on Saturday, April 4th at 2:00 to prepare the boxes of Girl Scout cookies donated by the Westborough Girl Scouts and the Fitchburg Girl Scouts for shipment to our sons and daughters.
